If you prefer to stay in San Francisco, you can easily take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from downtown San Francisco to North Berkeley. The BART trip takes about 45 minutes, and then it’s a 10-minute walk to the workshop location. Be aware that on weekends the trains do not run as often.

Stonebridge Farm is a ten-acre, organic community supported agriculture farm just outside Lyons, Colorado. Co-owner Kayann Short is the author of A Bushelʼs Worth: An Ecobiography. Your room features a double bed, desk, and porch and 1940s renovated wooden granary with a beautiful view of the Stonebridge meadow. You will also have use of the Stonebridge community kitchen. Bathroom facilities are a detached composting toilet and an indoor bathroom with shower in the Stonebridge farmhouse.
